My recommendations for a solo producer are: Studio One, Reaper, Logic Pro X and of course Ableton.Ableton Live lets you easily create, produce and perform music within one intuitive interface. So what's my point then? Learn Pro Tools if you want to work in big studios, Learn Ableton+Traditional DAW if you want to be a successful solo producer. People give into this because of synchronization. it's not uncommon to have a company monopolize an industry. it's just that Avid has monopolized the music industry so if you wanna work with a big team, you HAVE to learn Pro Tools. But sad reality is that you have to learn Pro Tools one way or the other IF you want to work in big studios. i feel scared for saying this in this subreddit.
